FES Kyrgyzstan
The Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) has been operating in Kyrgyzstan since 1993. Supporting the development of democratic institutions and democratic political culture is a top priority for the Foundation in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The Foundation supports the implementation of judicial and legal reforms, promotes the development of a multilateral civil society, and cooperates with the parliament and state structures. In particular, FES makes an active contribution to the development of dialogue on youth issues and gender policy. Issues of social justice are being considered together with trade unions.
