The final event of the program “Achyk Okmot”: steps towards open communication and sustainable development.

At the final event, participants summarized the results of their initiatives, identified their achievements and determined the prospects for further development.

The main objective of the meeting was to analyze how live broadcasting and social media within the program helped to improve the dialogue between local authorities and the population. The focus was on important topics: what problems were most often raised by citizens, the effectiveness of the training program for municipalities in digital communication and public involvement in communication processes.

The event presented final media materials, such as question and answer cards and infographics based on the topics raised. Feedback from representatives of akimiats, heads of district administrations and journalists helped to identify strengths of the program and suggestions for improvement. During the meeting, the next steps were outlined to expand live broadcasts and maintain social media activity, as well as to expand cooperation with media partners and other organizations.

Participating media centers included radio stations and organizations such as Tun-Uk, Nevaket, Toguz-Toro FM, Talas FM, Oogan-Talaa, Barskoon and Ak-Bakai. This exchange of experience provided an opportunity to develop new strategies for the sustainability of the program.

The “Achyk Okmot” project will continue to push the boundaries, making communication between the authorities and citizens more effective.
