Dilgir Young Leadership Program 2025

Dilgir Young Leadership Program concluded after three months of intensive learning, exchange, and collaboration.

In August 2025, the Dilgir Young Leadership Program concluded after three months of intensive learning, exchange, and collaboration. The program brought together young people from across Kyrgyzstan who are eager to strengthen their leadership skills and actively contribute to building a fair and inclusive society.

Throughout the program, participants explored key topics such as civic identity, urban activism, inclusivity, human rights, the future of work, and social project design. They engaged in workshops, guest lectures, and trainings with experts from diverse fields, as well as interactive activities including study tours, simulation games, and group discussions.

The final module featured alumni of the Dilgir YouLP program from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, whose contributions enriched the dialogue and enabled participants to analyze and compare experiences across Central Asian countries.

Over the course of the program, participants gained practical tools for activism, enhanced their job-readiness skills through resume and cover letter writing, explored the role of artificial intelligence in shaping the future, and designed social projects addressing real challenges in their communities. As one graduate reflected: “Dilgir brought back my faith in activism.”

More than just a leadership program, Dilgir 2025 served as a platform for dialogue, networking, and empowerment. Participants left with new knowledge, stronger confidence, and fresh inspiration to continue their journeys as active citizens and changemakers.

The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Kyrgyzstan congratulates all graduates of Dilgir 2025 and wishes them success in their future initiatives.
