An engaging Open Class on labor rights for high school students was recently held in Osh, organized by the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan and the Ombudsman for Children's Rights, with support from the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Kyrgyzstan. The event primarily focused on educating students about the labor rights of minors.

The main goal was to enhance students' legal literacy in labor relations, familiarize them with the Labor Code, and offer practical advice on how to protect their rights. The students actively engaged with the topic, asking thoughtful and relevant questions. To boost participation, interactive games and educational videos were incorporated, making the learning experience both accessible and enjoyable.

The seminar featured key government and public figures, including Ombudsman for Children's Rights Asel Chynbaeva, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kyrgyzstan Muradil Jumadilde uulu, President’s Representative in the Osh region Talantbek Arstankulov, Vice Mayor of Osh Nurbek Kadyrbekov, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Labor and Social Development. Over 300 high school students participated in the event.
