Just City Study tour in Berlin

From September 29 to October 5, the Just City Study tour brought together peshcombishkek initiative, dilgir.kyrgyzstan alumni in Berlin. This enriching experience focused on the pressing urban challenges that cities worldwide face, including mobility, housing and publicspaces. 

Participants engaged in meaningful exchanges on innovative solutions, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in creating equitable urban environments.

Altai Kalykov shared his reflections on the trip, stating, "As an eco activist, this study tour in Berlin inspired me and awakened the desire to make our Bishkek a Just city for everyone."

The tour featured insightful speakers who shared their journeys on making a more accessible city for cyclists and pedestrians. Their passion and dedication to their work were evident, highlighting the importance of fostering community engagement in urban transformation.

Participants left equipped with valuable knowledge on how to inspire collective action for positive change in their own city.
