Round Table on the Results of the Study: "Analysis of the Situation of Kyrgyz Citizens Moving to Germany: Stay, Prospects, Employment"

The event brought together experts, government officials, and international organizations to discuss key issues and develop recommendations for improving the support and integration of Kyrgyz migrants in Germany.

On December 18, 2024, a round table was held in Bishkek to present the results of the study "Analysis of the Situation of Kyrgyz Citizens Moving to Germany: Stay, Prospects, Employment." The event was organized by the Secretariat of the Migration and Human Trafficking Council under the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, with the support of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Representation in Kyrgyzstan and the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek.

The goal of the study was to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the current migration processes related to the departure of Kyrgyz citizens to the Federal Republic of Germany. During the round table, participants discussed key aspects of migration, such as employment, adaptation challenges, and the prospects of Kyrgyz citizens in Germany.

Special attention was given to the socio-economic consequences of migration, identification of issues related to labor integration, and ways to improve migration policy and support for migrants. Experts, government representatives, and international organizations exchanged views and developed recommendations for further improving the living and working conditions of Kyrgyz citizens in Germany.
